On June 13, during the Black Wall Street Festival, there will be a variety of performances throughout the day at the Zaanse Cultuurhuis. The festival, organized by the Black Wall Street Foundation, offers a diverse program featuring dance, theater, music, education, and community activities.
At Het Zaans Cultuurhuis, visitors can enjoy the anniversary performances by Solution Dance Centre, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, as well as the impressive performance *Ko Yeba* by Kinkela Rabba. This choreographic journey across the African continent focuses on knowledge, heritage, and identity. In addition, Rabba will give an inspiring lecture on the Congo and the Ndombolo style of dance and music.
The Zaanse Cultuurhuis is one of the festival venues. At the Solution Dance Centre studio, there will be a lively program running all day, featuring open mic sessions, live performances, DJs, workshops, meet-and-greets, and a mini market with local entrepreneurs, artisans, and creatives.
Through performances, educational programs, social gatherings, and celebrations, the Black Wall Street Festival brings people together around stories, talents, and cultural exchange that foster connection and inspiration.
