Tokodrama plays the first tryout of Citizen's Wedding. After the performance, there will be a public post-show discussion with director Bart van Heel.

Tokodrama is a course center for amateur theater in Amsterdam. They play Burgerman's Wedding, a comic play by Bertolt Brecht from 1919, which is about a wedding party that totally derails. Tokodrama plays the play anno 2024 in the style of Brecht. Can we still open up to the other in 2024? Can we still step over our own rightness? Where is the connection? It promises to be a bitter but very joyful performance.
