MAAK 'T! on Sunday afternoon
for children ages 4 to 12 years old

Once a month, ten times during the school year, we make something new on Sunday afternoons. One time we'll make a museum about ourselves, then we'll poetry and rap about it, then make our own (animated) movie. Something different every month, will you make it all?

This Sunday: LINDY HOP DANS

Now it's TikTok, but it used to be the radio. Then you would hear over the radio exactly which dance step you could do in the living room. Swinging to the music! Do you already know 'the snake' or 'the bird'? You will learn it all in this Lindy Hop workshop! At the end of the afternoon you will leave the dance studio with a big smile.
Lindy hop is an Afro-American dance style that originated in New York in the late twenties and early thirties. Think of it as a combination of jazz dance, tap dance and the charleston. We are swinging the floor and we share our moves with our audience in a festive setting at the end of the afternoon.
