SHINE! / Robin Hood

  • Zaans Toneelhuis 2 Cornelis van Uitgeeststraat Zaandam, NH, 1508 EH Netherlands (map)

Pupils from the second grade of the Zaanlands Lyceum are performing a freshly written version of Robin Hood. The play was written by Sebastiaan Kuypers who wanted to bring his childhood sentiment to the stage and co-directed during rehearsals. In this, his actual knowledge as a history teacher also came in handy to add a medieval sauce to the performance.
This performance shows how great the oppression was by the Sherrif and how Robin Hood managed to bring hope back to the people.

The performance is part of the theater talent program SHINE! A collaboration of Bertrand Russel College, Blaise Pascal College and the Zaanlands Lyceum. Made possible by the VSBfonds and Cultuurfonds.
