A folklore performance to warm the cold days

From English traditions to Hungarian clapping figures and a fairytale Turkish dance - this winter Paloina presents a diverse program. On Sunday afternoon, November 30, we welcome you to the Zaans Cultuurhuis. Get carried away by colorful skirts, stomping boots and age-old melodies.

During this performance, Paloina will premiere the brand new duet Air, created by Floortje Doeksen. We also perform, among other things, the festive choreography Not far from Lublin, and we get the Hungarian boots out of the closet again for Verbunk - one of our oldest pieces, which we haven't shown in a long time. All in an atmospheric winter setting: chilly buskers on the square, a glass of wine to ward off the cold, and a warm party scene as a finale.
