Workshops & Activities

The workshops are suitable for children ages 4 to 10.
Participation in workshops and visiting performance is free, but you must reserve a spot.

Indian sounds

1:30 - 2:00 p.m.
Explore Indian instruments and marvel at the unique Indian sounds accompanied by Arvavinda Tedjai.

Painting on rug

1:30 p.m. = full
3:00 - 3:30 p.m.
The Surinamese school is hosting a special workshop for the day in which you will paint on a rug with paint and paste with cutouts. 

Paper Dolls

Together with the Turkish theater group Kumpanya, make your own paper dolls to play theater with.

Aastha Anuja on Harmonium

Aastha has been studying Hindustani classical music since she was five years old. She received her Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Hindustani classical music from Chandigarh, India.
