ALOISE

A theatrical performance about flights into reality and flights into fantasy, based on the life of Swiss artist Aloïse Corbaz, who worked as a governess near Kaiser Wilhelm II in 1911. In 1918 she was admitted to a mental institution, where she began to paint and achieved national fame.

"Don't you ever want to leave?"
"I left once before."
"Didn't that bring you anything?"
