MAAK 'T! on Sunday afternoon (14.00-16.30 hours)
For children from 4 to 12 years old

Once a month, ten times during the school year, we make something new on Sunday afternoons. One time we'll make a museum about ourselves, then we'll write poetry and rap about it, then make our own (animated) movie. We perform our own mini Christmas concert and learn the secrets behind special magic tricks. Every month something different, will you make it all? Of course we show the result to all parents at the end of each afternoon.

This Sunday: RAPPERS and RIJMERS

Telling stories, writing, rapping... Especially for this workshop, we were able to invite the one and only Zaanse City Poets Lisa van Tongeren and Reinier Fosch to give a MAAK 'T! workshop! The city poets love all kinds of language art! So how do you bring your story? Of course there are many ways to do that, writing/illustrating on paper, performance, with sound, with movement, everything is covered. Whether or not you can read or write, during this workshop they will teach you how to make word art out of your story!
