LOSBREKEN is a personal theater performance about identity, adaptation and the struggle to dare to be yourself. My Moluccan roots and my faith played a major role in my quest. The pain of my community-the displacement, the broken promises-I carry with me. Within the Evangelical and Pentecostal churches, I learned about God's love, but also felt the fear of making mistakes, of not being "good enough. How do you stay true to where you come from and to your faith, without losing yourself?

For years I adapted, afraid not to be seen. But what if you lose yourself in that? LOSBREKEN is my quest for freedom and self-acceptance.
