Shadow Play Performance
"Growing Up " is a solo puppet show about a character who can't wait to grow up.
The character believes that growing up means you have to change: to become stronger and better, or to be more like the people around you. Through puppetry, movement, sound, and playful transformations, the character constantly changes shape and tries out different identities.
But after becoming all sorts of different versions of itself, it begins to wonder: Who am I, really?
The performance takes the audience on a playful and moving journey filled with change and self-discovery.
Children are invited to reflect on what it means to grow up. At the same time, the performance celebrates the power of imagination, each person’s uniqueness, and the freedom to be oneself.
After the show, the children can make their own puppets and characters. Don't forget to sign up for this!
